KF-900 Isobutyl Triethoxy Silane is a colorless, transparent liquid that provides superior waterproofing and protection for concrete surfaces. It effectively blocks moisture and harmful substances while allowing internal vapor to escape, enhancing the concrete's resistance to damage from freeze-thaw cycles, salt, and alkali.

Description :

KF-900 Isobutyl Triethoxy Silane is a colorless, transparent liquid based primarily on n-octyltriethoxysilane. It features fast and easy application by spraying or brushing onto clean concrete surfaces. The silane molecules quickly penetrate deep into the concrete and form a strong hydrophobic network within the capillaries. This protective layer effectively blocks external moisture and harmful substances while allowing internal water vapor and gases to escape. As a result, it significantly enhances the concrete's resistance to salt and alkali attack, freeze-thaw damage, and water ingress, thereby extending the service life of reinforced concrete structures.

Features :

Waterproofing Performance: Excellent hydrophobic and waterproof properties. The unique small-molecule structure penetrates cementitious surfaces and reacts with moisture in the air and substrate under acidic or alkaline conditions to form a durable and environmentally friendly waterproof layer.

Long-Term Protection: Provides long-lasting protection against corrosion, cracking, spalling, and mold caused by water penetration, UV exposure, acid rain, deicing salts, and seawater. Deep penetration greatly extends the protection period.

Strong Penetration: Penetration depth of 5–10 mm. Effectively reduces water absorption and provides waterproof, chloride-resistant, and UV-resistant protection while maintaining breathability. Requires only a small amount for effective coverage.

Aesthetic Preservation: Does not alter the original appearance of the structure. Greatly reduces damage from chloride intrusion, freeze-thaw cycles, steel corrosion, and mold, enhancing weather resistance—especially suitable for decorative concrete surfaces.

Chemical Resistance: Excellent resistance to chemicals, weathering, abrasion, and stains, offering a self-cleaning effect. In newly poured alkaline concrete, the reaction is accelerated, quickly forming the hydrophobic layer.

Breath Ability: Significantly reduces capillary water absorption while maintaining vapor permeability, preventing external moisture and harmful substances from entering, and allowing internal moisture and gases to escape.

Precautions

Concrete should be immersed at least four weeks after production,

and repair work should be carried out after two weeks of curing to prevent cement setting from being affected.

 Storage period is 1 year. Store in a cool, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing, direct sunlight, and rain.
